Following the recent Screen Hide feature announcement which is part of the OneUI 6.0 Beta update, the Samsung development team has announced the Good Lock 6.0. The new Good Lock will bundle several new features and enhancements of already present modules. In a community post, Samsung detailed new features and even explained the issues they met while aligning new features in perspective.

Samsung Good Lock app offers several tools for extensive features on the Galaxy Smartphones and other devices. It enhances the lock screen, home screen, notification panel, and much more. The Good Lock 6.0 is aimed to offer more convenience to the end users by adding more features and enhancing the feature’s consistency.
The Good Lock 6.0 will be part of the OneUI 6.0 builds.
Good Lock 6.0 changes for Modules
Unlike the previous iterations, Good Lock 6.0 will be part of the OneUI 6.0 Beta update package. It is aimed at reducing steps to enjoy these extensive features on the Galaxy devices.
Edge Lighting+: It will be made available for all Galaxy Smartphones, earlier it was limited to the Galaxy Foldables.
DropShip Ride Together: It is a whole new feature that will be part of the Good Lock, and will be available for all the Galaxy Phones, irrespective of the OneUI 6.0.
Sound Assistant: The module related to changing the color and theme of the volume panel is getting new effects and controls. There will be new animations and color effects for a more elegant look.
Wonderland: The module will get new transition effects when the user switches from Always-onDisplay to Lock Screen/Home Screen.
NiceCatch: A troubleshooting app that allows you to generate a log kind output for any feature that you feel is automatically triggered. The Good Lock 6.0 will bring advanced features that will fetch more details about any inadvertent notification or issue.
Features for OneUI 6.1 or later
Apart from the change in Good Lock 6.0, the company also detailed the features present in upcoming iterations.
Keys Cafe: Samsung is aiming to bring functional gestures to the Samsung Keyboard. It will allow the users to map desired functions to specific keys. Further, the Keys Caffe module will allow a change of keyboard sound.
Home Up: The module will get new Home Screen gestures and styles which will be quite different from the basic Android options.
Theme Park: Samsung is improving the speed of installing a theme on the device. The functionality will be part of the future Good Lock updates.
Expectations from Good Lock 2024
For its 2024 plans, the Samsung information that Game Booster will be merged with the Good Lock app. If the user has any suggestions, they can send them via the Good Lock Bulletin Board.
Samsung Dex Changes
Apart from these modules and Good Lock, Samsung is bringing some major changes to the Dex which will make its use more convenient for the users. The changes will be part of the OneUI 6.0 update.
