If you are a Spotify user, the major change you will experience is your ability to peruse. The entire layout of ‘Your library’ has changed in a more sleeky way. A new grid view takes the screen that displays a large-tiled album, playlist, and podcast cover art. Moreover, sorting options are now enhanced, which means you can classify playlists alphabetically, by recently played, and more according to your preference.

Adding on to this, are dynamic filters that will enable the user to select a track as per criteria. The filter can be applied to all the albums, artists, playlists, or podcasts. Also, unlike before, there is now a “Downloaded” filter, making it easier to look for your local music.

At last, Spotify now lets users pin up to four playlists, albums, or podcasts for convenient access. If you want to pin something at the top, swipe right on the content and tap the “pin” option.

This is the third update this month for the music streaming service. Recently, Spotify introduced podcast subscriptions, along with the ability to listen to songs from within the Facebook app. Prior to this, the app received the ‘Hey Spotify’ hands-free app activation phrase followed by new personalized mixes to keep your playlist updated.
