Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 9T powering Android 10 along with MIUI 12 on top out of the box. The device is the rebrand version of the Redmi Note 9 5G launched in China. The January launched Redmi Note 9T is now grabbing the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update.

A week after the Chinese units of the device, Redmi Note 9 5G grabbed the MIUI 12.5 update based on Android 11. The similar update is arriving for the EEA and Global variants as well i.e; the Redmi Note 9T.
The latest build for the Redmi Note 9T arrives with build numbers V188.8.131.52.RJEEUXM for the EEA versions. Whereas the number varies to V184.108.40.206.RJEMIXM for global variants.
Talking about the changes, the Xiaomi’s latest customized skin, MIUI 12.5 skin is a bridge between the MIUI 12 and MIUI 13. However, the company did not reveal much about the skin. Like any other newly released public MIUI build, this as well is currently in the Stable Beta phase. This means it is being rolled out in batches. Therefore, the update is only available for a select few users right now.
Xiaomi is occupied sending the same update to all the eligible devices. So far several devices including Redmi 10X 5G, Redmi K30 Ultra, and Xiaomi Mi 11X have received the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update.
