OnePlus 8 series is receiving their next Open Beta update

OnePlus started testing the OxygenOS 11 open beta for the OnePlus 8 series last year in September. The company is ready to deliver another software update for the OnePlus 8 & OnePlus 8 Pro with OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 11. Whereas, the T-mobile variant of the lineup, the OnePlus 8T is grabbing Open Beta 6 update.

The latest OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 11 build for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro incorporates the screenshot function for AOD. Talking about the changelog, the new update improves network stability and the visual effect on the OnePlus Sharing page. For more precise details, refer to the below official changelog.

Talking about the OnePlus 8T, the device is receiving OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 6 accompanied by the June 2021 security patch. This also adds the screenshot function for AOD with improved battery life. However, keep in note that this is a Beta update and is not stable as normal OTA builds. If you still want to continue, the company recommends you take a full backup of your respective smartphone. Also, you will receive this new software as an OTA if you are already running the latest Open Beta.
