Samsung Galaxy A01, Galaxy A21, Galaxy A11, and Galaxy M01 are all mid-range smartphones. They boost Android 10 out of the box, making Android 12 the second major update for them. With this operating system, the Korean tech giant is likely to toss up the Android layer with the One UI 4.1 skin iteration. Moreover, knowing the company’s nature, the software is likely to pack the latest version of the Android security patch as well.

Talking about changes, Android 12 will bring a whole new user experience with a revamped UI design and Material You theme. That implies everything on your phone will be color-coordinated with the home screen wallpaper. In addition, the build is loaded with privacy features giving you a more secure experience. Precisely, it adds the Privacy Dashboard that offers a detailed single view of your permissions settings. Thanks to the indicators, you will now know when your apps are accessing the microphone or camera.

Out of the aforementioned smartphones, Galaxy M01 is the only device that will receive the Android 13 update. While the same can’t be said for the rest of the handsets as they adopt the two-year major update policy. Therefore, Android 12 might be the end of Galaxy A01, Galaxy A21, and Galaxy A11’s update journey. On the bright side, they will keep receiving security patch updates.
