OnePlus has been working hard in order to provide a smooth Android 11 experience to its eligible devices. Recently, the company announced the end of HydrogenOS and the introduction of Oppo‘s ColorOS to its flagships.
The Chinese giant has already unfurled the Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 skin to many handsets including the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7T series. But as always, the unlocked variant is taking more than the usual time to receive the build.
The users of T-mobile‘s exclusive OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren edition are still waiting for the new operating system. The company has now given them a ray of hope as the smartphone is grabbing the March 2021 Android security patch update.
The fresh firmware for the exclusive edition can be identified by software version 10.0.43.HD61CB. The update brings a little more than this bump as it seems that T-Mobile will soon deliver the stable build of Android 11 to OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren units. Let’s see when this expectation will turn into reality!
